Afia is known for defending Meghan Markle in her privacy and copyright lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday, and she’s also represented Prince Harry in his security-related court battle in London.

Now, she’s reportedly helping Brooklyn and Nicola manage their public image - a move some insiders allegedly call “drastic” but intentional. “Nicola and Brooklyn are getting fed up with stories running they don’t like. Nicola likes to control everything, and they have taken this rather drastic action,” one source said, according to OK! Magazine.

Family Tensions Come to a Head

Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have been absent from key family events - most notably David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in London this May. While Victoria, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper all attended, Brooklyn and Nicola stayed away despite being invited.

Behind the scenes, sources say Brooklyn’s relationship with his parents has been strained for months.

Adding another layer of drama, the Beckhams were once close with Meghan and Harry. Victoria and David even attended their 2018 royal wedding. The timing of that meeting, followed by the legal hire, has fueled speculation.

A legal insider insists the connection to the Sussexes is coincidental. “There is absolutely no connection to Meghan and Harry. Schillings is a respected firm with a wide range of clients,” they said, according to PEOPLE.

Still, some insiders suggest Brooklyn knew exactly what message this move would send - especially considering his parents’ past fallout with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
