“I saw the mother crying,” Robinson-Hughes added in her conversation with the outlet. “But when they rescued them, I think that’s when the tears really started flowing because you were just so overjoyed.”

No injuries were reported, and Disney Cruise Line later issued a statement praising the crew's quick response, according to PEOPLE: “We commend our Crew Members for their exceptional skills and prompt actions, which ensured the safe return of both guests to the ship within minutes.”

Some passengers speculated she may have been sitting or climbing on the railing when the fall occurred.
